MLM and the Truth about Making Money

Posted on February 12th, 2008 in My Rant...that can make you money! by admin

Ok I have to say this and it’s a bit of a rant and so for that I’m sorry. I happend to be reading online and ran across a post on a scam site talking about they felt they were scammed because if BOLD letters the site said NO SELLING!  They claim when the spoke with the company about it after not making any money they were told oh you don’t really have to sell the product sells it’s self.

I have two distinct problems with this situation.  Number one is the person thinking that selling is something you don’t have to do and somehow you are going to make money.  What has this poker caribenaipes para pokercaribbean poker portal internethigh stakes pokeraprende a jugar pokerpoker brokercard gamepoker portales webstrip pokerbonus de poker en lineastrip poker downloadplay poker onlinejugar poquer onlinejuego poker online gratisjuego omaha poker en lineajugadas pokertexas holdem rulesjuego de poker online gratispoker pc gamespoker caribe pagina webcaribbean poker portalespoker caribe portales internetpoker play moneypoker caribe portalespai gow poker portales, pai gow,pai gow poker portales internetpoker texas holdem online, poker texas holdem, poker texas holdem gratisjuego poker texasjugar poker lineajuegos flash pokerpai gow poker portales webpai gow poker internetpoker caribe portal webreglas de poquerstrip poker gamestrucos pokerpoker torneos gratispoker portal internetpoker caribe portales webjugar poker texasfull tilt pokereuropean pokereuro pokerpoker tournamenttop poker promocionesstreap poker gratispoker librejugar omaha pokerjuego poker omaha en lineatexas holdem gratiscartas linea world come to where people really think they don’ t have to sell at least their personality to sell a product?  I only buy stuff from people I know and trust and when I have a good deal I share it with anyone that will listen.  It’s like having an extra buy one get one free coupon and sharing it with the schmuck in line behind you because it’s a good deal.

That’s what MLM is.  Plan and simple it’s nothing more than that.  You have something you think is great and you share that with everyone you know and you hope to God that you can find a few good people to do the same thing.  If you do there is a ton of money.  Why??  Because the company doens’t have to pay for ads and you are selling the product for them.  That saves on labor and other cost they would have if just employing sales people.  For example I sell the “Crap” out of Direct TV but I’m a Dish Customer.  I get about $125 per sale and I make great money for about 4 months a year then it sucks a$% for the rest of the year unless I really need some extra money.  I sell about 10 to 12 systems per month so you do the math.  Now that’s not bad and the reason you don’t make more is because it’s not my main thing.

M y point is I make money two ways.  By selling it myself (that means getting flyers distributed) or by telling people if you want to order Dish or Direct you can get up to $125 back if you sign up to sell it then buy it from yourself.  I’ll get $20 for getting you to sign up and you get $125.  Most people say really???  Why would you not just try to get me to buy it from you?  My answer is hey I’m not that interested in selling it.  I would rather have 200 people buying Dish or Direct than selling 20 or 30 systems personally.  I’m all about the deal and I don’t mind passing on a good one.

This is all MLM is.   It’s passing on something good to someone else.  Now the company that I won’t mention shouldn’t have been playing word games, but the person should have had some real expectations on what having a business is and that selling is something you have to do no matter what.

Now this post is after 3 glasses of a very good wine call Staccato from Argentina so sorry it’s too long.

Buying a Play n Trade - $200,000 in 90 days

Posted on August 21st, 2007 in Uncategorized by admin

Ok it’s pretty simple  I want to buy a Play N Trade.  It’s  always been my dream to own a video game store and this is the fastest growing franchise in the country right now.  The business concept is strong and the store layout and tournaments combine everything I’ve done in the past with gaming.

I own a gaming website and tournament event company now but I want more and I know this would be the next big step.  OK so here is the issue… I HAVE NO MONEY!!!

LOL I need cash for this and I’ve set a goal for $200,000 in 90 days!  I’ve never made this much money at one time so I’m looking for legal ideas to pull it off that are not going to cost me a fortune to get started.  I really would like to do it via web marketing and affilate programs.

So Any Ideas?  I’m really serious but any smart ass comments are welcome as well as some good natured ribbing, but either way come with some ideas.

Check out the blog roll to the right

Why Why tell em that it’s human nature…..

Posted on August 16th, 2007 in My Rant...that can make you money! by admin

Why why do they do me that way? Now that is the question that I have to ask. Ok here’s the deal I have a buddy..? well really a guy I’ve worked with for a long time so we have know each other for about 5 years or so. I hipped him to the $300 gift card deal when you sign up for Vonage at Circuit City. Yeah $300 bones for a $14.95 a month account I’m all over that. Anyway I digress - so I hook him up with the info and he takes advantage.

Ok so what’s my problem? I sell a bunch of stuff online - Mobile Phones, DSL, Gigabit speed lines and of course Dish Network & Direct TV. You can even order VOIP from one of my websites. So this cat needed DSL and asked me what would I recommend? Of course I sent his azz right to my site and said check it out. This is my website and you should find great pricing. He looked but then took himself right over to Best Buy and ordered it from them costing me $60 in commission. I use the same system as best buy and my deal was better.

This same cat also got his Dish from some door hanger on his porch instead of getting it from me, but he called me first to find out the best plan and about the DVR. I guess I should not be so upset that in 4 weeks I’ve missed $185 from this guy but man that really burns my azz. Now his next door neighboor ordered from me a couple of months ago and has been really happy with the service, so he knew he would get shafted. I think it’s one of those things where people see you with a business and can’t beleive that you have something professional.

So sorry about that and I’m not including a link…well come to think of it here is a good tool for keywords I ran accross. You can trend the popular words if you are into adwords or just to see what to put in your site.

Here’s the link and best of all it’s free: Google Trends Link

Incase you are wondering I’ll post some links later about my DSL site and if you want to sign up to sell it yourself on your own website. It cost nothing and you can sell anywhere in the country to business and residents. This ain’t for everybody trust me on that one. You have to be a go getter. I’ve put this info in the hands of brothers…black and white and seen them squander it and not make a dime, so be warned this takes hard work but with the right attitude and smart hard work you can change your life with this. Want a lottery ticket? I’ll give you a winning one in the next post.

How to take a Paid Vacation - Well at least a little paid

Posted on July 25th, 2007 in Selling Online by admin

Ok this past weekend me and the wife went to Chicago to see a play and shop a bit on the Mile. Had a bunch of fun and really enjoyed this nice french resturant called Bon Soriee. They served five courses for $55 per person and the chef came out to explain and deliver each dish.

Anyway I have a Motorola Q from Sprint and let me just say I hate them for the record…ok sorry so as I was saying I have this Q and can sync my email. I was suppose to turn it off for the two days we were on vacation, but forgot to do that so I was getting emails the entire time. Well on the way up there I got an email saying Congrats! you have just received a 2 teir sale which means you earn $20 in commission. Now you don’t get paid until it installs but damn it was a sale and I was on vacation.

So later that night I get two more emails saying the same thing. I’m thinking they were duplicates so I got the laptop out to log into webmail. We stayed at the W and Interenet Access was $6.95 per 30 min so I walked down the street to Mc Donalds and checked there. Anyway it was not a duplicate three people I had sign up purchased Dish/Direct TV. Of course I was happy about it and wanted to tell the wife but couldn’t after all I wasn’t supposed to be getting email.

So we enjoyed vacation and on the way back home I got one more email about another sale from my 2 teir. If you don’t know 2nd Teir is when someone signs up to sell Dish/Direct TV via my link. So now that makes $80 I made plus one Direct TV sale that I didn’t mention I got on Thursday before we left since I had not officially left yet. So over all between Thursday and Sunday I made $205 dollars. Not a lot of money I know but that $200 is going to come in handy.

Anyway here is the link if you want to sign up to sell services:
Click Here to Sell Dish/Direct TV

Remember it’s free to join and you never have to pay anything. You will however have to work for the sales they don’t just fall in your lap, but if you get the word out and follow some of the tips I have supplied you should be ok. My personal goal is a sale per week or at least one every couple of weeks. That means I can look to have an extra $250 to $500 per month. No I only market right now for the actual sales offline with mostly flyers. I don’t market selling Dish/Direct TV online yet but I’m thinking about it, so if you are already selling online this is a good option for you to have a product to offer. I’ll post about my cell phone sales in another post.

Sal the Site Stealer - Review

Posted on July 25th, 2007 in Affiliate Dollars, Selling Online by admin

Ok this has been going around for a couple of weeks and as always it comes out at one price $37 bucks which honestly is a great deal for the information that’s contained. Now the price has increased to $57.

The hook of the program is really the silly way he goes about acting like a mobster and talks about wacking people with a plastic Dora the Explorer bat…this is classic stuff. I’ve checked out the program and to me it’s worth the investment. It’ s always a good idea to give things a new perspective and to find out ways to increase your sales.

Oh course you are not stealing sites you are basicly finding someone that is successful and doing what they do. It’s great for people that are new to the marketing game and want to start getting a check on a regular basis. This will help you achive that if you follow the plan and read all the documentation. Now as with most of these programs the authors are reporting income they made from people buying the program…at least that’s what I think. Now this guy has other sites and list builders he pushes and from the research I’ve done he is making good money doing other things and now is releasing this information to well make more money of course

So my recommendation is pick up the program and give it a try. There are a bunch of bonus deals also so you get your money’s worth.  Here is the link and I hope you take action and move on this one.  Don’t sleep because although the concepts are not going to go away I really don’t see this price dropping and he may stop selling it at some point.

Please use my link…I need to pay for hosting this blog someway now don’t I lol

Here’s the link :Start Stealing Sites

Actual Wholesale Sources for Ebay

Posted on July 6th, 2007 in Wholesale Sources for Ebay by admin

So over the past few years I’ve done a bunch of stuff to make money on the net. One of the first things I started was a business with SMC. Yeah that’s right the Tom Bosley thing…lol Well that didn’t go all that well at first but I was able to sell a few stun guns and the flea market along with some of the other stuff they carried. Once that got old I moved over to other stuff. A couple of years after that the whole thing with Ebay started getting a little popular so I took some of the same resources I found with SMC and started selling stuff on Ebay.

Now that time has gone by I have better resources which is the point of this post. Most sites are going to try and sell you a service that will tell you where to find dropshippers and wholesellers. I’m going to give out a short list of what I currently use:

http://gsaauctions.gov - Real Government Auctions

http://firstgov.gov - Find Auctions in your State and US Marshall Sales

http://www.rhinomart.com - Buy electronics in bulk - They can sell truckloads

Ok that should keep you busy for a couple of days. Now the other sources I use I’ve joined Worldwide Brands and use some of the dropshippers they have listed. I’ll place the link at the end of this post. I only use ebay around the holidays and back to school time. It’s really cool for Christamas money and my kids got to private school so it helps to have some extra cash so I can pay tution up front. Anyway The link is below. There are plenty of videos on the page so take your time and check it out.

Here’s the Link for WorldWide Brands

A Dish best served green

Posted on July 2nd, 2007 in Offline Money Makers, Selling Online by admin

Ok short post because I’m at work, but I had a great weekend and got 10 yes TEN affilate sales. I didn’t beleive it so I called my affilate manager and yes you get an account person you can call or IM and asked if there was a problem with the system.

He of course wanted to know why and I asked him if the numbers were correct. Well he just sent me a txt message and it was. I made fricking $200 after just making $420 last week for a couple of sale and an affilate sale. Now don’t get me wrong I have had some $2000 months afterall I’ve been selling Dish and Direct TV for three years, but my progress has never been this great and it’s mostly because I wasn’t using the web that much. I’m a flyer and door knocker person all the way.

My next goal is to get my commission up to that $145 per sale for moving 50+ systems in a month. It’s possible guys. Now I don’t know anyone that’s doing that many personally but my manager has told be there are people making insane amounts of money…he can’t give numbers but that’s cool. Since the holiday is coming up I’m going to hit it hard as I’ll be on vacation for a good part of July

Anyway Here’s the Link I’m telling you at the least sign up if you are planing on getting Dish/Direct TV and get that $100 bucks back as commission.
